GAIKO & BAUM

GAIKO tries to convey the feelings of club music into intricate dreamlike compositions. His productions are inspired by the dance floor but meant to listen to on your living room couch.

BAUM is a multi instrumentalist, violinist and singer based in Brussels. In her solo project, she creates electro-acoustic sound landscapes interwoven with eclectic voices, spoken word and field recordings.

Using violin, vocals, a piano and two reel to reel tape recorders, both GAIKO and BAUM create organic soundscapes that also allow free improvisation. The intention is to immerse the audience into a seamless transition between electronic music and acoustic soundscapes.
