Ricardo Martins

Ricardo became known in the Portuguese music scene for being the drummer in bands like Adorno, Lobster, and Cangarra. Gaining attention and becoming one of the most beloved and busy Portuguese musicians.

Currently, he is the driving force behind Papaya, a post-punk trio based between Lisbon and New York City. He is also a member of Pop Dell'Arte, Chão Maior, ALGUMACENA, Jibóia, etc, and is a frequent collaborator with Filho da Mãe and Dada Garbeck.

In addition to music, he works as a sound designer and composer for theater and dance. Fortunately for us, he has managed to find time for his solo project, with "Ocaso" being his most recent work.
