Enigmatic underground figure Jawnino straddles the line between electronic subgenres such as grime, drum and bass & jungle. His soundscape re-contextualises these genres into something of his own dubbed the “40”. Born and raised in South London Jawnino has found himself as a leader in the underground scene that has acted as fertile grounds for emerging left-of-centre talent. With nods from notable acts such as Frank Ocean and King Krule; Jawnino sits at the precipice of a new era of UK music. His 2022 EPs - ‘4040’ and ‘Few songs b4 40’ garnered critical acclaim and have positioned Jawnino to step into the spotlight with his next offering.
